Dr. David Juncos, Psy.D.
Dr. David Juncos is a bilingual clinical psychologist offering telehealth services to residents across 40 states and Washington, D.C. He earned both his M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia and has worked in the mental health field since 2002. Dr. Juncos brings extensive experience providing individual, couples, and group therapy in a range of settings, including private practice, community mental health centers, college counseling centers, and substance use treatment programs. His clinical expertise includes working with clients navigating trauma-related disorders, substance use, and other co-occurring conditions. For more than 15 years, Dr. Juncos has also conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations for a variety of purposes, including diagnostic clarification for AD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Specific Learning Disorders, as well as immigration-related hardship cases and forensic assessments for criminal proceedings. He is deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care—grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a respect for each client’s unique lived experiences. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Juncos serves as an Associate Lecturer at the Voice Study Centre (UK), where he contributes to international research on music performance anxiety. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and co-authored a book on the topic. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Juncos enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, exploring upstate New York, and attending live music events around Philadelphia.
