Dr. Richard I. Gracer, MD

Richard Gracer, MD has been practicing orthopedic medicine since 1979. He is board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and the American Board of Family Medicine, and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. He retired from full time practice, after 43 years, as a partner at Integrated Pain Management Medical Group in January 2018. He currently consults at the clinic on a part time basis. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Community and Family Medicine at UC San Francisco School of Medicine from 1980 until 2005 and has edited three books, Beating the Years, Beating Back Pain and Beating Sports Injuries. He is the author of A New Prescription for Addiction, his first book, and wrote an essay in the anthology, Peak Vitality.
