Dr. Dennis Yun, MD

Dr. Dennis Yun is board-certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Yun completed his internship and residency at the University of North Carolina and his pain medicine fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Dr. Yun continually enhances his knowledge and utilizes the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to improve the lives of chronic pain patients. He is especially enthusiastic about regenerative therapies, such as platelet-rich plasma and stem cells. He also has extensive education and experience with spinal cord stimulation and minimally-invasive injections using image guidance. Dr. Yun believes in a multi-disciplinary approach for pain diagnoses and treatment. He understands the importance of coordinating care with patients’ primary care providers and other specialists. He also encourages his patients to explore complementary treatments, such as acupuncture, to improve their pain condition. Dr. Yun is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the Interventional Orthopedics Foundation.
