Dr. Kunal R. Parikh
Dr. Parikh is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UNLV School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery. He is dual board certified in Pain Management and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, he is fellowship trained in Interventional Spine & Pain Medicine. Dr. Parikh was born and raised in Southern California where he did his undergraduate education at UCLA. After graduating from medical school with honors, he went on to complete his General Surgical internship and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of medicine in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Parikh went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and subspecialty fellowship Interventional Spine & Pain medicine at the SUNY Upstate Medical University where is served as both Chief Resident and subsequently as Chief Fellow. Dr. Parikh specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of pain conditions as it relates to the spine/musculoskeletal system as well as a wide range of other acute and chronic pain illnesses. He utilizes a multidisciplinary approach in his approach to pain management to restore function and quality of life to his patients.
