Dr. Matthew Emmons, DC
Dr. Matthew J. Emmons is a board-certified chiropractic physician with more than 15 years of clinical and medico-legal experience, specializing in multimodal pain management, functional rehabilitation, and complex injury cases. He brings a highly structured, evidence-based approach to evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Throughout his career, Dr. Emmons has managed high-volume practices while delivering individualized care plans that integrate advanced chiropractic techniques, myofascial therapies, and functional rehabilitation. He has extensive experience identifying common pain generators and restoring mobility, strength, and function through targeted, patient-specific treatment strategies. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Emmons is a certified Independent Medical Examination (IME) provider with significant experience performing plaintiff IMEs, impairment ratings, and comprehensive medicolegal reporting. He has worked closely with attorneys, insurers, and interdisciplinary medical teams to assess causation, permanency, and functional limitations in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases and has provided expert witness testimony when required. Dr. Emmons earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and later completed advanced graduate studies in biomedical sciences and medicine. He is licensed in Arizona and North Carolina and is trained in a wide range of chiropractic and rehabilitative techniques, including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, ArthroStim, Applied Kinesiology, Active Release Techniques (ART), and Chiropractic BioPhysics.
